Growing up, home was always centered around family. My mom filled our house with the aroma of homemade meals, and friends loved coming over because everyone knew they would be welcomed with incredible food and warm hospitality.

From an early age, I found joy in creating order. I swept the floors so often that my mom eventually had to tell me to stop. Even in college, my roommate noticed how neatly my side of the room was kept, right down to the perfectly spaced clothes hangers in my closet.

When I had a home of my own, I realized my love for organization had naturally grown into a passion for interior design. I found myself drawn to calm, uncluttered spaces where every object had a purpose. Like my mom, I love opening my doors to family and friends, creating a welcoming home where people can gather, connect, and simply enjoy being together.

Lighting a candle has always been one of my favorite rituals. Much like pouring a glass of red wine at the end of the day, it signals a moment to slow down, unwind, and appreciate the beauty of everyday life.

I've always been drawn to understated design—pieces that feel timeless rather than trendy. Travel has shaped the way I see home, teaching me that the most memorable spaces aren't filled with more, but with intention. I believe in surrounding yourself with objects that bring joy, serve a purpose, and quietly complement the way you live.

My hope is that CHENDA STUDIO grows into a thoughtfully curated collection of home objects that inspire people to slow down, gather often, and create homes that are thoughtfully designed and beautifully lived.
